Imagine rocking Friday night, having a jazz gig the next day, and playing in church on Sunday. Most likely you don’t need the same gear for every performance.
On Friday there are some overdrives and distortions on your pedalboard, on Saturday a compressor and on Sunday some extra modulation pedals and you leave your reverb at home. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a professional pedal board that would allow you to quickly switch pedals without damaging your pedals or having to use Velcro/Velcro?
Aclam Guitars Smart Track Pedalboards
Especially for this, Aclam Guitars has designed so-called Smart Track Pedalboards. Aclam Guitars is a Spanish company that specializes in pedalboards. All Smart Track boards have grooves in which you attach your guitar pedals by means of pedal fasteners. The fasteners are small rubber feet that you screw onto the board with a normal screwdriver. The advantage of this is that your pedal is guaranteed to be solid and you can easily remove it again. Every pedalboard is sold including pedal fasteners, so you don’t have to buy them with it.
Evo Track and Hybrid Track pedalboards
In addition to Smart Track boards, Aclam also has other options: Evo Track and Hybrid Track pedalboards. Evo Track pedalboards are normal boards with which you simply attach your pedals with Velcro (supplied). If you have trouble choosing, get a Hybrid Track board. With this you can go in all directions, one side is a Smart Track and the other side is an Evo Track. All pedalboards are supplied with all necessary tools (Velcro and/or pedal fasteners).
Top Routing and Free Routing Pedalboards
Aclam makes two different types of pedalboards, without openings – called Top Routing – and with openings – Free Routing. If you choose Top Routing, all cables will be on the top of your board. Aclam has special tools and accessories that allow you to neatly route your cords across the board. If you choose Free Routing, the cables will run under your board, similar to most other pedalboards.
Aclam Guitars Pedalboards in five different sizes
The pedalboards come in five different sizes: XS1, S1, XS2, S2 and L2. The smallest is for about 3 to 4 pedals and the largest board fits 10 to 14 guitar effects. More than enough for most guitarists. All pedalboards are supplied with a soft bag. The boards can be further expanded with Wahppers and Uppers. Both increase the height of your board, making it easier to reach the pedals in the back row. You place a Wahpper on your existing Aclam board, an Upper provides an increase by removing the existing row from your pedalboard and raising it.
