Vemuram Spiritone

Vemuram Spiritone is the signature pedal for Japanese guitar player Char and based on a Klon and the preamp secition of a Watkins Copycat.

This pedal combines a Klon Centaur with the preamp sections of the Roland CE-1 and the Watkins Copicat which Char has been using for many years and became his signature sound. By combining the boost/gain with his Klon a new versatile medium-gain drive sound emerged.

During the year-long development process, there were two prototypes which Char was particularly happy with. Both of which have been incorporated in the new pedal. The first channel has a vintage tone and feel, while the second channel is brighter, aggressive, and powerful with a punchier attack. Each has its own Level control and foot switch.

Besides the usual knobs there is also a  SAT (saturation) trimmer, which allows you to fine-tune the saturation. An On/Off toggle switch for the input buffer circuit complements this pedal.

The overdrive uses New Old Stock components which may be revised without prior notice. The pedal is powered by a 9 volts battery or power supply (not included).
