JAM pedals Tiny Amp Destroyer

JAM Pedals Tiny Amp Destroyer (TAD) was developed in collaboration with Stu Mackenzie of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and is inspired by the distinctive sound of a small, inexpensive amplifier capable of producing an unexpectedly raw and unique tone. What started as Stu’s personal pursuit of a truly uncompromising sound evolved into a versatile overdrive and distortion pedal that combines the unpredictable character of an overdriven miniature amplifier with the flexibility of modern tone shaping.

The TAD features two independent gain stages that can be used separately or stacked together, allowing it to cover everything from subtle breakup to heavily saturated distortion. Active bass and treble controls, the signature Magic switch and the versatile Notch control make it possible to create anything from a compact, boxy tone to a wide and open sound. In addition, the pedal incorporates an independent treble booster based on the renowned JAM Pedals Rooster, adding extra definition, dynamics and character to the overall response.

Despite its extensive capabilities, the Tiny Amp Destroyer remains faithful to its original purpose: capturing the lively and unpredictable character of a small amplifier pushed far beyond its intended limits. The result is a pedal that feels equally at home as a subtle boost, a dynamic overdrive or an aggressive distortion unit, inviting guitarists to experiment and discover their own sound.
