Anasounds High Voltage is a plexi distortion pedal that hits you in the face. Thanks to the bass killer switch, the chords are powerful and they easily stand out in the mix! This is the end of sticky and fuzzy distortions which drool everywhere. This pedal has a good dynamic sound with lots of energy.
As Malcolm Young once said “nobody would pay attention to anything that was going on until you kicked them right in the teeth with it…” It is in this spirit that the high voltage was designed. The sound was engineered to be as close as possible to a Marshall Plexi pushed to 11. But with all available pots and trimpots on the inside, it is also very easy to create your own sound.
The voicing trimpot goes from a warm, bassy and vintage tone to a roll-off of high and mids that makes the tone more modern and heavy. Turn the treble cut to the right and cut everything over 4khz. Turn it to the left and keep all the high frequencies.
