Two Notes Torpedo Captor X + is a compact and versatile reactive load box and attenuator for tube amplifiers, designed for both live use and studio recording. With a power handling of up to 100 watts and a built-in 3-step attenuator (Home, Club, Stadium), it offers precise control over volume and tone.

Powered by advanced DynIR™ technology, the Captor X+ delivers highly realistic stereo cabinet simulations with extensive microphone and room options. Users can choose from 32 included virtual cabinets, load their own IRs, and store up to 128 presets. Built-in DSP effects such as reverb, EQ, enhancer, and noise gate ensure a professional sound without the need for additional gear.

With flexible connectivity (USB-C, MIDI, XLR outputs, and headphone output) and wireless control via Torpedo Remote, the Captor X+ is ideal for silent practice, direct recording, or connecting straight to a PA system. Its rugged design and deep software integration make it a complete all-in-one solution for guitarists seeking maximum control and premium tone. 

New compared to the previous Captor X is the addition of the Virtual Load Shaper, allowing you to fine-tune impedance curves and tonal response with greater precision. The X+ also features an enhanced True Stereo DynIR™ engine for improved stereo depth and control, expanded routing options, and a more refined workflow for both live and studio applications—taking flexibility and sound quality to the next level.
