Seymour Duncan Fooz
Seymour Duncan Fooz analog Fuzz Synth Pedal combines several effects sections including Fuzz, Filter, LFO and Envelope which interact with each other to create organic, extremely shapeable and highly expressive synth-fuzz tones.
Thanks to its all analog circuit, modular design with traditional style control knobs, and optional external control, this pedal captures the tactile feeling and interactivity of using a real synthesizer. The pedal uses a heavily saturated square-wave fuzz to transform your guitar into the ‘oscillator’, ready to be sculpted by the pedals other blocks—it also makes for a great fuzz tone by itself.
Adding the Filter, LFO and Envelope sections in various combinations and settings, you can dial in a wide array of both classic and modern tones. You can also plug in an expression pedal and blend certain parameters to taste in real time!
The FOOZ can be used to replicate the sounds of a synth, but also as a straight-up fuzz, tremolo (use the LFO to modulate the volume), auto-wah (use the Envelope to modulate the Filter), fuzz-wah (expression pedal assigned to control the BPF), rhythmic filter (LFO assigned to Filter Frequency), or a “cocked” wah (no modulation, BPF set to desired frequency) for anything from classic rock to retro-flavored sci-fi tones. Inspired by iconic guitar tones and synth flexibility, FOOZ brings the spirit of synth creativity to guitar.
