Keeley Gold Star Reverb

 219

Keeley Gold Star Reverb is the latest in the Keeley Studio-Themed Reverbs. With its three modes the Keeley Gold Star will help you forge new and unorthodox reverb sounds. Use it for pumping synth leads in dance music; use it on reverb vocals for a powerful sound that levels them clear and distinct. Use it on blues guitar for unique note definition with the space of reverb between the notes.

Compressed Mode is meant to simulate main studio floor at Gold Star Records known form the famous “Wall of Sound” sessions. It adds compression to the reverb so that the trails “duck” or compress when you play heavily.

The Distorted Reverb mode has a thick, throaty distortion on the trails that is bold, jarring, and terribly powerful. It is meant to be an exaggeration of dozens of people in the echo chambers at Gold Star with the sound of distortion produced via an overdriven compressor and maxed-out fader distortion.

Flanged Reverb mode, which is a random pitch vibrato added to the huge wall of sound is an imagined echo chamber that swirls with tape flanging.

Get to the heart of reverb with Keeley’s Gold Star!
