Carl Martin Ottawa is an auto-wah and envelope filter and mimics the sound a wah-pedal without the need for you to step on one.
Carl Martin Ottawa is named after the capitol of Canada, a place where a lot of politicians no nothing but ‘wah wah’ all day long. Hence the name of the (tongue in cheek) new Carl Martin Ottowa, which is a auto-wah/optical envelope filter.
The Carl Martin Ottawa mimics the sound a wah-pedal without the need for you to step on one. Further you can adjust the frequencies manually, which gives you a lot of sound-scaping options. The Ottowa is a great pedal for solos and for rhythm work, whether you are into ‘those’ psychedelic 60’s sounds, 70’s disco, or any other music that requires this unique sound. There are 3 presets which are High, Band and Low Pass filters, further there are adjustments for the bandwidth and attack as well as level and tone.
