Anasounds Utopia is an analog delay, tape echo with modulation. The pedal has a warm, vintage tape echo including a beautiful modulation. The effect produces everything from atmospheric soundscapes to the craziest driving solo. The circuit is based around a PT2399 chip.
The speed and depth of the modulation are adjustable. Echos go from 0 ms up to 600 ms. It is designed to be left on 90% of the time for a beautiful short slapback. It will also enhance your sound in the mix, when coupled with an overdrive or a distortion.
With the internal trimpots and dip switches you can seriously alter the sound of this effect. The tone pot goes from a warm tape echo all the way to a digital, crystal clear sound. The More switch let you choose between 400 ms or a maximum of 600 ms delay time. Depth sets less or more modulation and Rate sets the modulation speed.
