Xotic Super Sweet Booster offers a dynamic and transparent +20 dB clean boost perfectly tuned for transferring the articulation of your guitar playing. Many players favour vintage sounding pickups, however due to the design and age factors, they (more than often) lack enough power to push the front end of the amp. Those who are knowledgeable about tone know how to bring out the sweetness of the amp with familiar “staple” pedals like the TS808 or SD-1. These players have developed a technique and sound based around leaving the overdrive “on” all the time however not everybody likes this preferences.
The pedal is incorporated with a high performance class A preamplifier, built around the famous JRC4558 chip. The boost frequency can be selected by external DIP switches that offers versatile tone shaping capabilities.
The Dip Switches offer a mid boost, high cut, high mid boost, low mid boost or a bass boost. On the inside of this pedal there is a slide switch with options for True or Buffered Bypass. The buffered setting keeps the buffer active while the pedal is switched off. Activate the True Bypass setting to hardbypass the effect circuit when the pedal is off.
