Vemuram Shanks II

Vemuram Shanks II pedal was designed and based on the vintage sound of the Fuzz Face, Tonebender and the Buzzaround. It is equipped with 2 Silicon Transistors and a FET with 3 Orange Drop capacitors. It is a versatile pedal which allows you to dial in the range of the fuzz to suit your needs with any kind of pickups.

It is a boost, it is a fuzz with a big tonal landscape. Roll your volume down or up to get either clarity and chime or full on Zeppelin, Clapton, Hendrix all with headroom. Very versatile for all situations. The pedal is the child of the original 3 knob and the Shanks 4K.

The Shanks II was designed to create a thick dirty fuzz with a softer tone than the Shanks 4K. It’s been based on the vintage sounds of a Buzzaround to give you the classic tones of the late 60s and early 70s. Like the 4K, this is also the product of a collaboration with producer John Shanks. Known for his work with Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Santana and Sting amongst others.

All Vemuram pedals are handmade in Tokyo, Japan and of professional quality. Only the best, high-grade components are used. The build quality is excellent and the price/quality is more than justified.
