Vemuram Myriad Fuzz is a silicon and vintage germanium fuzz pedal and Josh Smith’ Signature pedal! It is a hybrid between a silicon transistor and a vintage Germanium transistor. The range of tone is very wide and it has enough headroom to go from a spitty fuzz to a smooth overdrive fuzz.
The trimmer allows you to control the Germanium Bias. The Feel knob affects the tone of the fuzz. It is a unique fuzz and incredibly tweakable but it never gets complicated. There are no bad sounds in this pedal.
No matter where you set the knobs you get a great tone. It goes from fire breathing silicon to cool warm germanium easily. It cleans up like the best of vintage fuzzes, and is more dynamic and organic than any fuzz out there. It also has a large amount of volume on tap and a tone circuit that allows it to really work in a live situation.
All Vemuram pedals are handmade in Tokyo, Japan and of professional quality. Only the best, high-grade components are used. The build quality is excellent and the price/quality is more than justified.
