Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig

Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig is a multi-effects pedal that wil make your acoustic guitar sound bigger, fuller, warmer and better than ever. It’s jammed packed with useful features: All-analog SansAmp, parametric EQ, boost, compressor, tap tempo delay, independent reverb. Despite its name, the Acoustic Fly Rig is also excellent for electric guitar and bass, when you want clean tones for jazz, country, and blues.

The all-analog SansAmp is, of course, its center point. Sweepable, semi-parametric, active EQ controls provide professional grade tweakability for any situation. There’s a Notch Filter, sweepable from 70Hz to 350Hz, designed to diminish the sensitivity for feedback caused by the resonating, low frequencies of acoustic guitars. A Low Pass Filter, sweepable from 16kHz to 1.5kHz, rolls off undesirable frequencies and artifacts.

The 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology encompasses the entire signal chain, from pre-amp to power amp to speaker simulation. An integral part of the circuitry, the SansAmp speaker simulation will complement any type of guitar or bass speaker cabinet system. You can also place an external IR after a SansAmp to give additional flavor if you so desire. The SansAmp speaker sim is designed for a smooth, even response.

The pedal has a Boost, Compressor, Reverb, Analoge Delay, Chorus and a Tuner. The Chromatic Tuner is within the EFX section. You simply hold down the TAP/TUNER footswitch to engage the Tuner, which simultaneously mutes the signal path.
