Science Amplification Mother Preamp

Science Amplification Mother Preamp is the company’s Mother Dual Channel tube head shrunk down into a dual channel pedal form. The preamp is designed in cooperation with, and is made by Electronic Audio Experiments.

The all-analog signal path has been painstakingly recreated with FET’s taking the place of tubes. The Mother features dual footswitchable channels with 3-band EQ and Depth and Absence controls just like its namesake. It can be operated like a normal pedal in front of an amplifier or going out of its PWR AMP / DIR OUT straight into an interface or cab sim.

The pedal is suitable for guitar but also for bass guitar. Depth controls pre-gain bass content. Absence smooths out upper harmonics when turned clockwise. Go counter clockwise for mote bite with this control knob. The 3-band EQ section is post-gain equalisation and adjusts the low, mid and high frequencies of your signal. The pedal is powered by a standard 9 volt power supply and comes without a power supply.
