Darkglass Luminal Booster Ultra

Darkglass Luminal Booster Ultra is a multifunctional and compact pedal with a preamp, 6-band EQ, compressor, boost and Amp Simulator.

Combining the rich tone of the Harmonic Booster with the precision of an adjustable frequency range parallel compression, this pedal gives you unmatched control. With a 6-band EQ, gain reduction meter, and the option to load 7 custom Impulse Responses via USB, it delivers ultimate tonal flexibility for bass players of any genre. The pedal has an adjustable lowpass filter for the compressed signal. The Blend knob blends between clean and compressed signal. The Comp knob adjusts the amount of compression applied. The Lebel knob adjusts the level of the compressor after the blend control. With the Boost knob you can boost or cut 20dB. The Character knob allows you to blend in the perfect amount of the tone-shaping circuitry. Press it to select between 7 IRs.

The EQ section consists of a Mid gain and a Mid frequency section. Mid frequency rages from 250Hz to 2.5kHz. There is a 80 Hz Low shelf filter. The 4 Mid bands are 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz and 3 kHz. High shelfing occurs at 5 kHz. The Master knob sets the overall volume of the unit.

The pedal has a cabinet simulation impulse response, a micro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load a different Virtual Cabinet through the Darkglass Suite. A 3.5mm headphone output is added with cabinet simulation and it has a balanced DI output. The pedal is powered by a standard 9 volts power supply (not included).
