Anasounds Feed Me MK3 is a vintage fuzz that is also able to go post-apocalyptic with a couple of interesting and modern possibilities.

The Feed Me mk3 is the third version of the Anasounds fuzz. The core of the circuit is inspired by the famous Axis Fuzz. This legendary model is in fact a silicon Fuzz Face redesigned by the engineer Roger Mayer to better suit Jimi Hendrix needs. It is a variation of the vintage fuzz that works as well in single notes as in chords. It can also be used for rhythmics, with a great clarity that doesn’t affect its warmth, and that clears up when you turn down the volume control. Especially on a Strat with a neck pickup like the great Jimi.

The pedal has three simple settings: the Feed, which controls the input of the pedal to match weaker pickups or humbuckers. The output volume and a switch to cut the low frequencies, which can be extremely useful if your amp is already well charged in this range.

But the use of fuzz has evolved since the 60s, some players developed a rougher sound that reminds us of a monophonic synth. This sound is radical and inspiring, and to get it on the Feed Me you simply engage the Crack switch and adjust the Smash setting. There is no need to adjust the Feed setting, so you can keep your vintage fuzz sound intact and switch from one to the other without touching the knobs!
