Power cable

Whether you use a simple adapter or a multi-power supply, you can always use a good power cable. Even if it is in reserve for the cables that you get with your power supply. You will always see that a power cable breaks when you absolutely cannot use it.

Power cable – daisy chain
Power cables come in all shapes and sizes. Most cables that we sell are to replace the cables that you received with your multi-power supply. These are often standard 9 volt cables. In addition, there is a wide range of cables with which you can connect different pedals to 1 output – so-called daisy chains. These power cables have from 2 to a maximum of 8 connections for effects pedals.

Voltage and current doublers
In addition, there are all kinds of cables with which you can either double the voltage. And there are cables that allow you to double the power. In both cases you consume 2 outputs to connect 1 pedal. There are also cables that allow you to reverse the polarity. In most cases, effects pedals will operate on power that is on the outside of the plug. However, with some pedals (especially fuzz), this is exactly the other way around.

Note the brand
Finally, it is also important that you pay attention to the brand of your food. Just any power supply works with any cable. Most power supplies will accept standard 2.1mm barrel plugs. However, Cioks power supplies work with RCA plugs and require their own cables.
