Pedal riser

Almost all pedalboards have only one level on which you can mount the pedals. Some boards are slanted so that you have a small level difference between the pedals in the front and in the back. In real life the difference is negligible. On large pedalboards you are often tap dancing to get to the second or third row of pedals. And not infrequently you accidentally step on other effects and have the puppets dancing.

Pedal Riser
A Pedal Riser is an easy tool that allows you to raise a second row of pedals so that you can reach them much more easily with your foot. You attach the pedal riser to the board, often with one or more screws or clamps so that it is properly secured. The riser is often made of steel or reinforced aluminum.

Different risers
Many brands have their own riser. Pedaltrain, for example, has three different types. The smallest is suitable for a standard size pedal. The middle one is suitable for two pedals and on the largest you can attach three pedals. Of course you can also choose to place multiple risers on your board and thus raise a whole range of pedals.

Whichever riser you choose, they are often easy to use and the costs are not too bad. In short, a good investment for your pedalboard!
