Cable management for your pedalboard

If you are going to attach pedals to a pedalboard, you will notice that there are many cables running on (and under) your pedalboard. Especially if you use a loop switcher and/or MIDI controller you will need a lot of cables. Sometimes it is useful to use some tools and lay your cables neatly over your board.

Cable management necessary?
No, strictly speaking it is not necessary to neatly attach your cables to your pedalboard. What you should pay attention to is that power cables and audio cables have a different function. It is not wise to put these cables together over your board in 1 bundle. Power cables can interfere with the audio signal. If you lay power cables parallel to audio cables, this chance increases. It is best to lay power cables crosswise – at a 90-degree angle – over audio cables.
