Fulltone Effects
Fulltone Effects is a U.S.-based company known for producing high-quality guitar pedals and effects equipment. Founded in 1991 by Michael Fuller, the company gained a strong reputation for crafting boutique analog pedals designed to enhance the sound and tone of electric guitars. Fulltone’s product lineup includes popular models like the Full-Drive series, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Drive), and other overdrive, distortion, and modulation pedals.
No-compromise approach
The company’s pedals are renowned for their durability, sonic clarity, and meticulous craftsmanship, drawing praise from musicians who seek vintage-inspired, high-performance gear. Fulltone also emphasizes the use of premium components and a “no-compromise” approach to design, which helped solidify its position in the competitive pedal market.
In 2022, the company announced it would cease manufacturing, marking an end to its run as a prominent name in the guitar effects world. Despite this, Fulltone’s pedals remain highly sought-after, especially in the used market. Together with Jackson Audio, production has now resumed and the effects are available again
